Amanda blends moody with neutral in everything from colors to dramatic details. And the result is a cozy vibe that is neither boring nor over the top. In her recent living room makeover, she framed up the family TV and a new electric fireplace then stacked them, and we love it!

Astra Spanbauer had an additional room off the back of the family room that functioned as a playroom that her kids had outgrown. As it descended into a catch-all, Astra decided it was time for a makeover. She wanted to add more storage and give it some theater vibes. She started with an electric fireplace and custom built mantel.

Kaley, Instagrammer behind the magic of this little white farmhouse, puts her time into making her house feel like a cozy, and historic, farmhouse (even though it isn’t).

As a champion antiquer, a natural fit for Kaley was the farmhouse style. The shift from a 2008 newer build to a fresh farmhouse filled with antiques was a fascinating process to watch. Of course, we were especially interested in her fireplaces.

Not only is Stephanie Robertson a licensed mental health counselor, she’s also a believer that small things make a big difference. That leads us to the charmed life she and her family live in Palm Beach, where they are about to embark on some renovations of their own.
