Rare to find customer service like this anymore!

I ordered a fireplace and mantel and lost my remote twice by the time we painted the room and i finished organizing. This company has EXCELLENT customer service. Someone emailed me back immediately and sent me a replacement remote twice no questions asked. I highly recommend this amazing company, I could not be any happier!

Stone fireplace with hearth a challenge.

Items shipped fast and were exactly as described. Some tips on installation would have helped. The trim is held onto the insert via magnets only and provides no structural support. Not a huge problem. My biggest problem was getting it to sit flush against a fieldstone fireplace since the stones are not like brick or wood in that the surface is quite irregular (not a nice flat surface). Suggestions on how to overcome this without leaving a large gap between the trim and the stone "wall" would have been nice. Also, my install was into a traditional fireplace with hearth so the bottom trim piece had to be cut in order to fit the insert such that the height at the top covered the opening fully. The firebox floor and the hearth are all one surface with no overhang for the bottom trim to hang over. Leaving the bottom piece of trim off left a gap at the top. On a nice flat vertical surface with no hearth this would have been a 10 minute job to install.
