Purchased this for our basement mostly for ambiance and heat source although we knew our basement was too large for the unit to heat solely. Looks beautiful and matches our cabinetry in our bar area. Super easy to assemble.
Service and delivery comments:
Excellent Customer service. I didnt open the box upon delivery as they request and with my luck, the firebox was damaged. They quickly responded to replace the unit or credit me the cost based on damage. We chose to replace it and they arranged pick up and return shippment of the damaged unit at no cost to me. I received a new unit within days too. Superior service in this regard! Most retailers dont do that! I will definately purchase from them again as I need another fireplace for my formal living room.

We bought the Dimplex Kenton Espresso Electric Fireplace Mantel Package based on research and price. It took about 30 minutes from unpackaging to compleation. The instructions were on the money and so easy to follow. When we turn the fireplace on it makes our den so warm and cozy. I can't stop tell everyone about how easy it was to put togrether, even my all "thumb" friends.

Best delivery I ever had. Driver was very friendly and actually put the packages in my den and waited while I unpacked them and checked for damages, there were none. I kept looking for something to be missing or broken, and found out that correctly packed nothing can be wrong.

We use it in our bedroom (~15'X15') for looks and atmosphere. In winter, helps to knock off the chill at night.

Quick and on time, in great condition. It was easy to assemble. Construction seemed very solid. The thumb screws simplified the assembly, not needing any tools to assemble it. Everything fit together.

Received my fireplace today, and being a female was able to put it together in approximately an hour 1/2 was amazing to me. Although I'm know to be Ms. Do-it-yourself. The only problem I encountered was securing the mantel to the fireplace. The screws were secured tightly, however, when checking to see whether the mantel was screwed down, it completely disengaged from the rest of the fireplace. Will have to get some longer screws and nuts to secure mantel. Otherwise this is a beautiful piece of furniture.

Service delivery was actually earlier than what representative stated it would be. Delivery person brought unit into my home and assisted me in breaking the packaging in order for me to inspect the item prior to accepting the merchandise. Product was in excellent condition.

I wanted a fire place to hold our Master Bedroom TV. I love the dark espresso (black) color. It matches my bedroom set well. Wish it was larger, but I blame the large TV for that! It warms our room and I love the flames and glowing embers.
