Hi, I'm Scott. This is the new Dimplex PowerChef Electric Grill. The Electric Grill has been designed to be used in places where traditional gas or charcoal grills cannot be used; balconies, apartments, condos, or if you're just tired of dealing with all the hassles of a gas barbecue; the tank, the lighting. This barbecue will give you the performance you're looking for and the convenience that you need. The Dimplex even sear cooking technology is what sets Dimplex apart from all other electric grills. With the even sear technology, each one of these stainless steel bars are heated to the ideal searing temperature. The elements underneath do the rest of the cooking and are placed very close to the food to allow perfect results every time. Because we have heat or energy running through each of the stainless steel bars, it enables you to use the entire 260 square inch cooking surface because the temperatures in the corner are exactly the same as the temperature in the center. The Dimplex PowerChef electronic control was designed to give you perfect results every time. When you turn the program on, it's going to let you know you can cook either on a manual mode or a program mode. The program mode, we'll just toggle over, and now you'll see the word program flashing, I hit select. I'm going to cook on program and now it's going to ask you what you're cooking. Let's choose beef. The next question is what kind of beef are you cooking; steak, burger, whatever. Let's choose steak. The third question is how do you want your steak cooked; rare, medium-rare, well done. Let's choose medium-rare. The final question is how thick is your steak; anywhere from a quarter of an inch all the way up to two inches. Today let's say three quarters of an inch. Now I've answered all the questions. The preprogrammed cooking mode is going to tell me when I hit select that it's going to take 23 minutes to cook the steak, the first eight minutes of that 23 will be a preheat and in during that preheat, that is when the Dimplex even sear system, we heat or charge each of these stainless steel cooking grates up to about 650 degrees and then the rest of the cooking element underneath gets up to ideal cooking temperature. By heating the individual cooking grates, it allows you when you first put your steak on, you're going to get a sear, you're going to get the sizzle, you're going to lock in the juices to get that ideal perfect result every time. It gives you an audible chime as well as a visual symbol that says it is time to place the food. So, I place the food, I hit select that I have placed the food. Now it will continue to count down the last seven minutes and 30 seconds. When it gets to the end of the first side, again you'll get a visible indication that it's time to turn the food, you'll get a chime. You'll come along, turn your steaks over, hit select again and it will count down the last seven minutes.
