The only change I would make is that you could turn off the flame and leave the heater on.This way when you go to bed the flame doesn't have to be on.

I cannot say anything bad about this fireplace. It looks beautiful in the corner of my huge bedroom, and, I don't turn the regular heat on. I can use it in the corner or against the wall, the wood is beautiful, keeps the room perfectly warm, and you really can't ask for anything more! I love it, and, I like that I can use it in the summer by just turning the heat off! A WINNER!!

Convertible fireplace that can be changed from a wall unit or a corner mantel unit easily. The quality mantel has a formal style and a great burnished walnut finish. Dimplex firebox is realistic and comes with a 2 year warranty.

We set it up as a corner unit. It looks great and like it's part of the living room. The cabinetwork is high quality. However, I wish the flame was more attractive - it is actually quite dim and the wood and embers look somewhat unrealistic. The heating unit is sufficient for the medium sized room that it's in. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the flame.
